As a tattoo addict the hand is not the best option of a first time tattoo or just in general Yes I don’t have a tattoo on my hand but have witness it being done. It so painful the worst spot in the world to tattooed. Hand tats are a bitch to heal and they fade super fast. But this is just my option, so you do you bo. the wrist hurts but not terrible I have one on my wrist. My first tattoo was my forearm it didn’t hurt piece a cake.

The part about the inner voice… I felt that. My inner voice is SO mean. 😬 Which is weird, cuz I feel AWFUL if I think like that about anyone else.

This resonated with me too. I think being aware that my inner voice can be harsh is the first step in shifting to one that's more constructive, softer and has grace. It's a work in progress.
