As someone who has been drawing their whole life, and is now an art major in college, hearing “im so proud of you” felt really good because I could spend hours making art and will still find ways to hate what I make. It was also a nice reminder that I need to start believing in myself more since I ALWAYS compare my progress to others. Thank u for this audio, K🥲🤍🤍

Comparing to other's arts, sometimes is like inevitable, even it's not every time, but I do sometimes. Now I learn to not doing that, I mean, we should looking to our own arts, how much we progressed, how mine back then, and how now? Thanks for the comfort and encourage for doing whatever it is. *feel so called out for the accidental paint tasting* buttt I seriously struggle with sharing my work because I’m not always satisfied with it or when I am satisfied I’m told I should focus on school. Once classes are over I plan on going crazy with painting and making everything I’ve been wanting to make

Okay first I can't handle the fact that you took an entire discord conversation and centered an audio around it and it's not the first time and I know you've done it before but I find it so endearing that you have! The tactile painting that you're talking about with whole hands? Reminds me of Toulouse in the AristoCats painting Edgar. I haven't painted in so long, this just makes me want to get back into it.
