Listen.....i only nearly set boxes on the stove on fire ONLY 3 TIMES .... Okay but real talk please please please don't ice a burn. It can actually make the burn worse by temperature shocking the skin. Cold(ish) running water is the way to go.

Why have you been putting us in check lately lol let us ‘embrace the khaos’…get it? No? Alrighty 😭

Alivia’s Life

They’re on my list as well. It was just something I stated to be followed up by a joke referencing k’s brand. But yeah same, I like these audios too🤍

CarelessBird

ok one, i love when the house is not using the electric stove..... two, i may be wrong but if you accidentally got burn, you should immediately immerse the burn in cool tap water for about 5minutes or so, idk I'm not an expert. LOVE THE AUDIO BTW great job

I like how your "conflict" audios are always so calm and loving. I did NOT have healthy conflict modeled for me by my parents, so hearing it here means a lot. Also, two things that I do not fuck with are fire and bodies of water. I'm too scared to even use matches or lighters. I practice Wicca, and it's considered disrespectful to the spirits to blow out a candle. So, I'm always terrified when I have to snuff them with my fingers, and I can only light them with those long camping lighters.

A tip: put egg white on burns!! I burned my thigh last month pretty with boiling water. Large area, 2nd degree burn. I have sensitive skin that scars easily but IMMEDIATELY put egg white on it and now it’s completely gone.

Andrea C

This is also not recommended as this risks infection and the egg white has no cooling properties. The point of first aid is to cool the skin to prevent any further epidermis and dermis damage

Upsi I’ve never heard of this and fortunately never had any problems but thank you very much for the input 😯🙏🏼

hey, you can try using candle snuffers. they’re pretty long so you won’t be too close the fire.

I can't guarentee that this is still the most current information, but since everyone is talking about proper burn treatment, I thought I might share what I was taught. I hope that it might help someone in the future. 😊 I took first aid for work several years ago, and learned to treat minor burns by running them under room-temperature water. Our bodies want to maintain homeostasis, and if you cool the burned area so that it's cooler than room temperature (and the rest of your body), your body is going to send heat to that area to bring the temperature back up to normal, making the burn worse, even though it might feel nice. So, we were told to use room-temperature water to bring the temperature of the burned skin back to baseline, and best help your body in the healing process. However, I feel obligated to mention that the recommended first aid treatment may have changed in the last few years, and that every country has different first aid training. ❤ Sorry for the long comment 🙈
