Gamer Group Memorial (Patreon)

This piece is very special to me and the friend that commissioned it, Nokk_her_boobs.

I never got to meet him, but Nokk's friend, Darrin, passed away a little while ago. He seemed like a really charming friend and was a fan from how cheery Nokk sounded when she talks about him and how she'd show off my art to him and her other friends, Angi and Sapphire. I feel forlorn just thinking about not being able to meet Darrin, especially since I love Nokk and Angi. I've not met Sapphire yet so I plan to let her know how I appreciate her love for my work. Even writing this now I'm getting teary eyed, my heart aches for someone I never met, but feel sad because a friend lost someone they cared about. 

The most important aspect I will note here is they were all online friends and played GTA together among other things. I am a firm believer that internet friends are real and just as important as people you see in front of you. I'd feel devastated if I hear one of my close friends across the country, even the world, passed. I can't imagine the pain Nokk and company are going through at the loss of their friend. Cherish all your important connections, even if they are solely online, because on the other side of all these pixels are real people.
