Ghosties (Patreon)

Nothing like getting this a few times a week! 

But on a serious note, if you can't afford to hire a particular artist after you see the prices of their time and energy, please, for the love of decency and chocolate... just let them know (POLITELY) that you lack funds at the moment and carry on. No one will be mad at you for not being able to afford their work! Believe me, I've given plenty of polite send offs and best wishes to folks that actually bothered to tell me they don't have enough at the moment.  And usually I welcome them back happily when they set up what they needed, even if its MONTHS later!

When someone decides to ghost an artist, they're taking time away from someone that actually wants to hire them, or taking away precious time from an ongoing project they may have been working on when they got the message. Just be honest and courteous, that way we don't have to have anxiety about whether the message was even received aaaa

It also helps to not ghost the artist that was messaged, since they may not be in good standing after that. Most of the time, if I get ghosted after replying, I won't want to even take the commission if they do show back up....
