These episodes were some of the most interesting I think I've seen in a few weeks imo! Looking forward to this week's episode and keen to continue reading this 1000% after this run of the anime is finished!

Let me know who your favourite character is so far and why, y'all!

Kaku 💫

Also ( just pure logic) Serie being way older, so much more mana than Frieren and the fact that she knows altmost all of the offensive spells or other spells that exist, if she really desired it and visualize herself being in a era of peace, she probably would have defeated the demon king even alone. Last point i see a lot of people being really against Serie because she does not have the same vision than Frieren, but Serie has done nothing wrong yet so its not deserved lol people are different that does not make them evil, also i think she is a little right at the beginning when she says that Frieren does not have ambition, at that time Frieren did not really have ambition and we saw it when Flamme died she did not keep the ambition of defeating the demon king, its Himmel that gave ambition and convinced her. ( again sorry for my english )

lktv2

For sure! And wait…people are already against Serie?! We just met her 😭😭😭😭

2024-02-09 04:32:32 Sense - Scythe Serie - series Wald (in Waldgose) - Forest To steal a comment from Reddit, Denken started the fight with Frieren initially on fundamentals. Once that proved it wouldn't work, he switched to a tornado (because the flying spell doesn't work in strong wind). Then, he added in fire, for an omnidirectional attack - which we learned back in episode 3 will quickly drain mana to defend against. Frieren was able to tank through that, so he switched again to a continuous barrage of light arrows to leave no opening (he thought) to counter attack. All of which were ways the show has already shown us to be a way a mage can overcome someone with more mana than them.

But Frieren most likely learned from her defeats in the Past/increased her Mana over the last 1000 years even more. Especially since we dont know how huge her Mana reserves really are. She released it in EP10, but only after she used her dispelling magic several Times and Aura mentioned it uses up a lot of Mana, so we still cant accurately pinpoint how big her Manapool really is.
