DECEMBER 2023 WATCHLIST & Important Information (Patreon)

A QUICK DISCLAIMER: this is a watchlist, NOT a schedule. I will endeavour to get to as much of this as I can each month, but in the event that my house is sold out from under my feet (thanks, November), or life happens, I may not be able to get to certain things. I have some REALLY important stuff for all Patrons to know about below, so even though it might turn out to be a novel, please read as much as you can! Thanks!

Last month was a hectic month. We moved ALL 1000 hours of content from the website to here, then had to in turn move it again to Streamable. The sale of my house caused some insane intrusions to myself and my partner, and unfortunately I couldn't get to certain content like Attorney Woo and Jeongwaja in the way I had liked. To combat that, I have pre-filmed a SUBSTANTIAL amount of this months stuff ahead of a busy time for all of us, and I hope you can enjoy what's in store.

Thanks for being patient, and while I know and of course respect that for some this Patreon subscription is purely transactional in nature, I really appreciate the understanding you guys show as well when something happens, as I'm often just as disappointed as you guys are.

Now that's out of the way, welcome to December! Thanks for your amazing support last month y'all, and here's to the month ahead!

1: Important Membership Info

Regarding the $5 tiers - the Anime Only, K-Pop Only and K-Drama Only tiers, PLEASE make sure you are selecting the right tier. You can only subscribe to one tier at a time. Tiers do not stack.

You cannot subscribe to a K-Pop Only tier and then change to the Anime Only tier expecting to get both. Likewise for any other combination. You'll lose content on one, and Patreon can have issues, so please, if you're considering trying to take 2 tiers at a time, upgrade to the All-Star tier. It's priced that way and created precisely for that reason. Some people have tried this and had this issue - please do yourself a favour and just confirm which tier you're happy with before signing up.

Upgrading between the 5-10-15 tiers is no issue, but switching between different $5 tiers doesn't work. Please be mindful of that y'all!

2: Streamable

I hope everything has been working well with Streamable! We've uploaded about 5 terabytes worth of content there so far, meaning that our entire anime and k-drama library is now over there. Is the viewing experience good? Let me know!

A quick tip: for iPhone users, if the Streamable link does not go horizontal on your phone, copy the link into Safari and it'll work.

Not sure why it does this, but it works. Android and web users are unaffected #CheersApple

3: Content

Finally!

As I said earlier, last month was big, so I've tried to minimise disruptions to uploads this month as much as possible. Please just know I'm doing my best out here! 🥺

Anime:

- Most content continuing as usual. The Big 3 will remain at a steady pace of about 5 eps a week, and JJK is now going to be weekly as well.

- Today (Dec 1st), I'll be uploading the rest of JJK S1, next Friday the movie, and then following that we'll do about 2-3 eps a week as we catch up to S2.

- Frieren is every Sunday-ish but I put it on Monday at the latest, and The Apothecary Diaries will be posted up whenever I can get them up. I'm putting cut and blurred episodes on YT now, so I do want to catch up, but we'll move steady.

- Last but not least, MHA will be every 2nd Friday starting from next week (the 8th of December), and we'll have a special Hunter x Hunter drop just as I wanted to peep it.

K-Pop:

Honestly man, we do a shit ton of K-Pop content. I'm trying to constantly keep things fresh but also rotate artists in and out from time to time. Thanks for respecting it y'all, and I'm looking forward to this month!

- First, for BTOB, we'll be alternating between Jeongwaja and live stages. I've wanted to bring more stages over here but also OT content, and I feel like this is a good balance. Thanks for your patience on uploads towards the end of November - i shit you not this was an incredibly stressful time, but I just couldn't squeeze the eps. out. Also don't want to push myself to do content when I'm not feeling bad - I'll hate it, and you'll hate it more. Appreciate y'all!

- For the fimmies, we have mainly Star Diary again this month, but also the Blizzcon stages! Looking forward to sharing those videos with you!

- TXT and Enha are finally back! For each of them I'll be aiming to get to about 2 pieces of promotional content each (as we're already covering A LOT on their end of year / awards shows performances), but if you have any suggestions for stuff you'd like to see, leave them below!

- tripleS SIGNALs have been pre-filmed, and will be back here starting next Friday the 8th! I'm actually going to see tripleS live too on the 23rd, so you guys will also get some exclusive Patreon-only fancams / pictures hopefully of my time with EVOLution!

- For Cosmos, not listen (due to space), we not only have the 2023 Melon Music Awards, but also the Asian Artist Awards and the end of year gayos. All will be Cosmos-only content.

- As far as random drops are concerned, we will also be doing the Seventeen stages (voted last month), along with Monsta X and BTS stages as well too (around 30 mins worth each) - for those looking forward to that, hope you enjoy!

K-Drama:

Last, but certainly not least, is drama!

Thank you guys for being so patient with Attorney Woo last month. It was genuinely a really tough and stressful month, but I really appreciate your patience.

As far as news for this month is concerned, we will be finishing Attorney Woo by the end of December, and we've also started Business Proposal! We have episodes filmed and on the way with both dramas kicking back off on Monday the 4th. Hope you can look forward to it!

THE ARCHIVE

Thanks to the efforts of our amazing mods J2 and RP, they not only helped port this content back to Patreon and upload to Streamable, but they have assembled a spreadsheet full of all content to take you to wherever you need to go just in case Patreon is too buggy or whatever.
