Okay, it's me again with a progress update. Since I've been so much fun tinkering with Ren'Py these past few weeks. I've come to a point where I can definitely say; "IT'S POSSIBLE"

So after having internal debates and collaborating with one of my writers, I have decided that the next version of the game will be on Ren'Py, a more suitable engine for this type of game and a lot less stressful for the player (and surprisingly) for me as well.

I'll be busy the following weeks, Importing the scenarios from the most current build of the game, so look forward to it.

Love hearing about this. I general prefer Ren'Py games, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this shapes out. They tend to be a lot less buggy in my experience. That being said, I found that your execution of RPGmaker was pretty stellar comparatively (with the stylization, backgrounds, parallax, etc.), so looking forward to what you can do in ren'py as well.

I am loving the Ren'Py engine thus far, I am surprised that I was able to learn it in a short time and am getting pretty comfortable with it, and yeah it's true it is less buggy I do agree on you on that. (Maybe bec. it tends to check everything on start not like RPGM where you need to encounter the bug first before it would lock you up or crash the game) You can look forward to it, I'm gonna do my best for the Ren'Py remake. Anyway, I do feel that this was the more appropriate engine for this type of Game anyway, seeing as I was going for many visual novel esque features in the recent builds of the game. Plus it's much easier to playtest and is more stress free for the player, in my opinion.
