been on this kick the past couple months of drawing brock and his band (more greg incoming due to this, probably, not that anyone will remember him because I drew him like twice 4 years ago LMAO) and it's just been a lot of fun, some new content for me to explore. and people also seem to be enjoying it over here?? I hope.

anyway, introducing toby, brock's lead guitarist and also his lifelong best friend! his right hand man, basically. toby is a tasmanian devil that grew up in the states, attending the same public school as brock and growing up alongside him. because of this, they're SUPER close, and brock thinks of him as something of, well, a rock (hate myself for rhyming that accidentally)

toby is extremely talented with string instruments, but especially any guitar he can just go to town on, it's like second nature to him and it's the majority of what fills his mind, most of the time. aside from this he is also a very compassionate devil who loves his own family and treats brock's as his own as well. he is very dedicated to his craft but he's also very fun loving, and I think that kind of comes out in these sketches. you can tell he's having a good time. much like brock, he was not a good student growing up...

he also sees himself as an uncle to brock's son, and he is a 'fun' uncle.

when the band is on tour and during shows, toby is very focused on the task at hand. he's a reliable driver for the tour bus at times, too.

I've rambled enough about him for now, he's still a bit new so new things may pop up as I go along. but hope you guys enjoy a bit more of this band 'arc' I'm on right now.
