World Name Mod (BGC) (Patreon)

Hi everyone, here's an old mod of mine, based on Ohmysims4’s mod. I've updated it as I had a few requests for it.

NOTE: Method 1 changes ALL NEW Saves until deleted. Existing Saves remain the same.

Method 2 changes SPECIFIC Saves that you choose, existing or new.

Method 1;

Grab the Midnitetech_WorldNameMod.package from this Patreon post. This will override all new Saves, but your existing Saves will remain the same. Download Sims4Studio and open it. Give yourself a Creator Name, and click My Projects. Select the World Name Mod you just downloaded, and click the String Table in your language. On the right, click Edit. You'll now see this screen;

Change the World Name in Value for everything you want to change. If you want to keep the original name, just delete the numbers I added next to each name. Don't edit the Key. Click Save when you're done, and load a New Game to check out your renamed worlds.

Method 2;

1. You do NOT need the Midnitetech_WorldNameMod.package for this method unless you want to change new Saves too. You’ll need Sims4Studio, if you don't already have it. Open S4S, and click My Projects.

2. Navigate to your Saves folder, and select Sims 4 Save (*.save) as your file type.

3. Click Type to sort the list, and choose Save Game Data.

4. In the Data panel on the right, scroll down until you find ‘neighborhoods’ and click Edit Items…

5. Now, choose the Worlds you want to rename. Some are blank, some say ‘Office Site’ but you can ignore those. Rename your worlds under ‘name’, and click Save. When you’re finished, click Save again. Now load up your game and enjoy your renamed Worlds!
