In episode 99 of the Shawn Ryan Show featuring John Crist, we delve deeply into the phenomenon of cancel culture and its impact on John's life. His own community turned against him, propagating a narrative that led to the cancellation of many of his projects. While some may dispute the term "cancel culture," this story serves as a compelling example of its reality and persistence today. We begin with John's childhood, journeying through his entry into comedy, his struggles living a double life, and the fall of his comedy career that led him to rehab. We later hear about John's reappearance into comedy and it has since manifested into something much bigger. This is a story of triumph, setback, redemption, and temptation. John shares candidly in this episode, holding nothing back.

To the people in the Churches of America.. from a message given to me by Victor & Eileen Marx. Christians pray for the Church, pastors, and congregation to repent and follow God's Word. Put Jesus in his rightful position as head of or Church. Pray for the ministers, pastors, priest to repent of excepting the world's standards and stop giving into "tolerance"; it's hurting the influence of the Church. Prayer warriors pray that the leaders would fear God and keep the pulpit a Holy place of God's Word. Pray for the pastors, ministers, & priest who have caved in and are doing the enemies bidding. Pray they will STOP misleading their congregation, pray they will repent and seek God's face.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to John Crist's experience with cancel culture and his journey in conquering it. Success is the best revenge! Here is a man who was raised in faith and tested his skills delivering appropriate jokes to his church's parishioners. He received laughter that filled his need to feel loved. He found his life's passion in comedy. The hell he went through at the hands of cancel culture and how he faced the repercussions that invaded his life is a story not to be missed. My heart hurt for him as he expressed the guilt and pain of being rejected. You'll shout BRAVO when you hear how he healed himself and how his career in comedy skyrocketed. I was not familiar with John but I'll be watching his videos now without fail. I was raised Catholic and attended Catholic schools from 1st grade through 12th grade (all girl Catholic high school). I wouldn't be the woman I am today if I didn't have that solid Christian foundation. I've always felt Christ dwelled in me even when I chose to stop attending mass at 13yrs old when the mass changed to English and a guitar player was placed near the altar. It lost the mystery of the mass in Latin for me. I drifted away but Christ came with me. I think I'm lucky. I had that foundation built. I have had His presence with me always. I'm now enlightened to how some of Shawn's guests came to walk with Christ after going decades alone. Their struggles were hard and the challenges almost insurmountable. Their mental health surely on the edge. Yet each man wakes up in their own way to see that the way out of human pain is a personal, one-on-one relationship with God. He's available to everyone who simply seeks Him out and invites Him in. Thanks to many of Shawn's guests we've been privy to stunning spiritual experiences that have occured in their lives, including Shawn's. It was the first one I heard and it blew me away. He had so many connections that happened rapidly and brought him to where he is today. A believer, a private and quiet man of faith. Perhaps Christ brought him to where he needs him. I'm grateful that Shawn brings guests that have opened even my own senior mind to seek out more answers. We all know that evil is rapidly preparing to control life as we know it. To me it signals "the end times" that Revelations points out. Soldiers of Christ be ready.
