Fusion energy has been "20 years away" for the last 60 years. Nuclear energy, especially new generation designed plants, is a more feasible answer. Interviewing someone about nuclear energy may be more helpful. Michael Shellenberger did a Ted talk on nuclear https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciStnd9Y2ak&t=2s Another question is whether climate change is real or urgent. Many people believe that it is a means by which those in power can exert more control over individuals. Steve Koonin has been interviewed by Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson talking about how the climate studies sponsored by the US govt have been misrepresented. Here's a short prager U video summarizing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P19ywkobLX8
