It's interesting reading the comments because I shared it with a bunch of my friends too and even my wife who I don't normally share stuff like this because she just doesn't get into conversations like this as I do. Sean I must say that I really enjoy the interviews with Ed more than any other. I feel conflicted saying that because I find "spec ops" to be absolutely fascinating, the stories of other spec ops vet's you've interviewed to be amazing, and the sacrifices people like you and others you've interviewed can never be repaid. Ed just somehow hits close to home, especially this second interview you did. I listened to the original last year too. Now he mentions the cartels possibly escalating into the US it really hit home. I live in a sanctuary city (Vegas) and my wife and little kids are truly beautiful, didn't get my looks. It's not out of the ordinary for a stranger to comment on my son or daughter when we're out and guys are always checking out my wife. It bothers me (a lot) to think about the cartels being active here and possibly escalating their crime, drugs, human trafficking, etc., due to a reduced police presence and just overall growing population of illegals that could potentially be soldiers for the cartels. I just listened to this one today and it gave a sense of reality that I haven't wrapped my hands around yet. I guess I need to train more than I already do and get my wife to train more. I love your interviews, your style brings out the best in the subject you are interviewing! But I have to say since watching Ed I have watch almost all of his interviews and follow his IG and the feed he uses to get information out of Columbia. He has a great way of simplifying the subject and he has a fantastic wealth of knowledge. I will attend one of his classes one day. Thank you for really getting quality guests and telling real stories! 💖
