Happy Friday Party Members!

What started off as a slow trotting, holy chapel style song, became an upbeat, 90's action tune. I knew I wanted to do something based around a choir at the start of this. So I set my tempo and came up with a choir line. But as I developed the tune, I started wondering how it would sound if I increased the pace a bit. Well I did (quite a bit...like, + 60bpm) and it took things in a different directiont.

Once I got that and the basic structure down though, something still didn't feel quite right. I was trying different stuff with the drums (just using timpani and a snare drum) but it felt like something was missing. So I tapped in to my inner 90s kid and did what any self-respecting composer from that era would do: I added break beats. 

And there it was. Instantly the song had a much cooler vibe. A few more touch ups here and there and bam. Song complete!
