Healer #158 - Pirates - Bit By Bit Sound (Patreon)

Ahoy Party Members!

It be a return to 16-Bit music today! And that's as far as I'm going to go with a fake pirate accent lol.

I received 2 requests for pirate music recently, basically back to back. One was a touch more specific than the other, asking for an interpretation of the pirate theme from DKC 2. So this one is getting added to the list of DKC music I've done so far lol. What is that, 5 tracks now?? 6?? :O

My tune definitely strayed from the source material, as far as feel goes. Those older DKC tunes had a lot of ambiance to em, of like, 30-45 seconds of just a creaking boat or wind or something. I opted to forgo that and just get right into the melody. Really though the track got its legs (or it's sea legs?) with the opening harp/bass line. And it all just went from there.
