Hey Party Members!

I know I say this all the time, but I'm really excited to share this track with you. :D

Often times when asked about my inspirations, two of the top names that I drop are Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) and Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails).

Stylistically, the two are pretty far apart from each other. But there is no doubt to me that they have had some of the strongest impact on me and my musical identity.

Why am I telling you all this? Well it's because for this song, I intentionally tried to meld their styles together. I pulled the dark, rhythmic elements from Reznor's music, and layered it with the melodic content of Uematsu's compositions.

I'm sure there is room for improvement with this approach, but I'm pretty happy with this run at it.
