Ah... And here we are, after exactly "72 hours". No more. Just as promised...
You know, I think it's about time to retire this title-screen/promo art and come up with something fresh for when the v0.10 Full Release comes out... Whenever that'll be.
First, it's time to finally take that unpaid break I started over 10 days ago. Got some strong thoughts about what might be a healthier release schedule leading up to v0.10. But I'll keep them to myself for now. Regardless of how I feel about the lack of content, new features, and polish on display here... Truth be told, I'm pretty sure it has more to offer in all 3 of those categories than the current public build so I guess it is a good idea to play this ALPHA instead if you were planning on replaying soon v0.09 anyway.
As for what's actually in this release, well, that's all I've really talked about in the blogs over the last several months so I think it's best just to dump the links and novel length changelog here and let them do the talking.
Thank you all so very much for your patience and support. I could never have undertaken such a massive overhaul of the game without your continued backing. Hopefully you can get a better picture of where I'm headed with things now.
I know I have a lot of lost ground to make up for this year, so I appreciate that it might be frustrating for me to take a break at this point in time, but I (and my back after this extra week of crunch) really need it to combat burnout after working through the December holiday period as well. I'll be back sometime around the first week of March, give or take. Since I've already worked so deep into February, I might need a bit longer.
Of course, I'm not really going anywhere. Obviously, please submit all the bug reports, feedback and overall thoughts you have on the build either in the comments here or over on the Discord. I want to hear everyone's honest thoughts on some of these new systems now that they can experience these early implementations and get a better feel for what I'm going for. Things are still quite bare-bones and unbalanced, but now that you can see where I'm at, I'm sure there will be a lot of great suggestions put forward in the days and weeks ahead. :)
