Another Quick Update (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all still keeping safe! As I haven't made quite as much progress as I had hoped, it is still a little premature to be writing up that planned Dev Blog detailing the upcoming stealth mechanic for v0.08. However, since it has been some time, I did want to do another quick update just to keep everyone in the loop.

Before I get started though, I'd like to once again urge everyone who hasn't already connected their accounts to the discord server to do so for smaller updates and such in-between these sorts of Patreon posts. A lot of the following will not be new news to those following things over there.

Some things that have happened since the last update post include: the release of the old Lara's Swim image set (can be found on my blog, search "Jimjim's Renders"); another batch of voice lines recorded for Tiffany (I'll put a proper demo together later, but you can find some samples on the discord in the td-general-discussion channel); work has continued on more Terminal Juggs comic pages (Currently for Special Forces patrons, but will release a preview for everyone else soon); weekly chapters of the erotic novel DNA Valkyrie have started up again with volume 2 (Currently available for $5+ patrons, but $10 patrons get 3 days early access); I've been in contact with a lot of 2D artists for various TD commission pieces (including a test run for the bonus 2D scenes as a result of the 2.5K Goal) which you should all be seeing soon.

Speaking of that 2.5K Goal, for the other component, 2 of the 3 winners responded to my message and we sorted out their ideas. The third slot however, has been passed on and re-rolled a total of 5 times now! I am waiting until the morning to see if the current winner will message me back, otherwise I will be re-rolling again. So there is still a chance for any patron to win the final slot for that. Just so you know what to expect, the two ideas that have been pitched and accepted so far are:

• 1) A dream/nightmare sequence that will trigger during the night of Day 3 when Tiffany is sleeping. It's going to be focused on body transformation and is probably going to go way over the top making her into the ultimate, super-bimbo, breeding machine. It will probably have some choice involved so the transformation dream isn't forced upon the player if they don't want to see it. Basically it would be an opportunity to take things further in a dream/nightmare scenario than what would actually happen to her body when she wakes up in the morning of Day 4 and reaches "body stage 2". A lot of details will be fleshed out later as we approach the end of Day 3, but I assume it will involve a sex scene too.
• 2) An interaction with Dr. Milburn if you chose to lock him up in a cage. The basic idea being that he has a valuable stash of items and will only tell you the combination in exchange for more sexy times. It will include a doggy style sex scene inside of his cage between Dr. Milburn & Tiffany (with a chance for impregnation if Tiffany is able) while Hitomi watches (and probably masturbates) from outside the cage. This one will be retroactively added to Day 2 in v0.10.

Hopefully somebody will eventually respond and accept this final slot so I can let you all know what the third idea to be added is!

As for the game, right now I'm still working through the "cum extraction" scenes for the stealth mechanic. Again, more details to be elaborated on in the upcoming blog, but Tiffany will be able to "interact" with recently defeated infected to extract and cover herself in their cum. This will then prevent enemies on the map from noticing her and constantly moving towards her position. Think The Walking Dead, but with the girls covering themselves in cum instead of blood/gore. As far as development is concerned, these "cum extraction" scenes are essentially just more combat sex scenes, but ones where Tiffany is in control and safe to do her thing.

The scenes that will be in for v0.08 are:

• Regular Zombie - Handjob
• Sewer Zombie - Lipjob/Licking (Pictured Above)
• Alpha Zombie - Titjob
• Bestial Zombie - Blowjob (As voted by $5+ patrons)

Note that these are the only enemies present in the Casino during Day 3 except the Female Zombies who do not have any semen to extract!

Of course, after finishing these scenes, I still need to properly implement the code for the stealth mechanic. Upon which, I will write the dev blog with some more previews to explain how it will work. After that, the only thing left before I launch the v0.08 BETA for $10 patrons are the remaining re-rendered combat sex scenes for v0.08: Regular Zombie, Sewer Zombie, Alpha Zombie & Female Zombie. All up, this means there will be 8 sex scenes added in the BETA/Full Release(Although 3 of the 4 combat scenes are simply existing scenes re-rendered to have Tiffany's new Day 3 proportions).

I am not sure when the BETA will be out at this point, but the Full Release should follow it by a few days since the only changes should be any bug fixes and minor improvements I happen to make while the Special Forces patrons play-test the new features (if they so choose). So don't worry, there will not be any big wait between the BETA and Full Release.

As much as I would love to put my foot in my mouth and say something stupid like "Before the end of this month!" or "By Early June for sure!", I'm simply done with giving time-based estimates for now. I'm always guessing wrong, so they're honestly no use to us anyway. I will still use the percentage based system that I have used in the past when getting within close enough proximity of the BETA's release though, so don't worry, it's not going to suddenly appear out of thin air one day. You will know well in advance when the build is getting close to being ready. It (unfortunately) won't sneak up on you out of nowhere.

Not sure if I have any polls or discussions that need having right now, but I will try to think of something over the weekend. Will be doing a podcast as soon as the lockdown is over and my roomates are finally free to return to work during the day again and give me some privacy to record...
