v0.08 Dev Blog #1 (Patreon)

Hello Everyone.

Well, it's been a while since I typed one of these update posts. As I mentioned before I'm rebranding the "Weekly Updates" into "Development Blogs". My goal is still to upload one around once a week, but since that's not always the case (especially recently) I didn't want to keep calling them "weekly" posts.

Right, so, first thing's first. You probably noticed the two comparison images at the start of this post. That's a look at the 3 different body types that Tiffany will be able to start the morning of day 3 (the start of v0.08's content) with. I think the labels are fairly self explanatory, but I'll go over it once again just in case there is some kind of confusion.

"New Base" = The base body that Tiffany has from now on, as a result of being injected with Dr. Slater's Fertility Enhancement Serum.

"+ Lactivate" = If Tiffany was not impregnated on Day 1 (Robert or Dr. Milburn), but ingested the "Lactivate" pill given to her by Jebadiah(If she wasn't already lactating from pregnancy) on Day 2.

"+ Pregnant" = If Tiffany was impregnated on Day 1 (Robert or Dr. Milburn).

Note: The only difference between the "+Lactivate" Body & the "+ Pregnant" is the inflated belly. I have attached individual renders of the bodies below if you've like to compare them in more detail by flipping between the images.

Some examples:

• If Tiffany was knocked up on Day 2 (Jebadiah or Andre) She will get this stage 1 pregnant body on Day 4 instead.
• On Day 4, there will be a second stage of growth (for pregnant Tiffany & 'Lactivated' Tiffany).
• If Tiffany gets these body enhancements from the Lactivate pill on day 3, but was knocked up on day 2, then on day 4 she will receive the second stage body, but with the first stage pregnancy bump.
• Stage 2 will be the final stage. If pregnant, the belly will deflate after giving birth (End of Day 4) but Tiffany will keep the other body enhancements (It will be the same as the 'Lactivated', stage 2 body)
• Enhancements from pregnancy and the Lactivate pill are the same (minus the belly) and do not stack.
• It will be possible to return Tiffany to her "New Base" body afterwards via either a item or a medical procedure performed by a doctor character (If you don't like the extra enhancements).
• It will not be possible to return Tiffany to her original (Pre Fertility Enhancement Serum injection ) body.

I know this is probably rather complicated without all the necessary possibilities in front of you in a visual form, so for now I'd just focus on what your Tiffany will look like during Day 3 and wait till later versions before we worry about the stage 2 body.

Honestly it's even complicated for me and will result in a mountain of work, but I am willing to do it, at least for Tiffany. Other girls will probably just have one stage of growth (Stage 2 equivalent) But we will see... Right now, Only Tiffany will give birth in 3 days (Thanks to the Serum). Other girls will take longer... for now... ;)

Okay, enough boring talk. Here are some more examples of one of Tiffany's new bodies in action from the heavily WIP opening gameplay section of v0.08. These screenshots are all of the "New Base + Pregnant" ( Stage 1 - Pregnant ) body:

As you can see I have my work cut out for me. Honestly, it will probably take me about a week of rendering just to get all these basic, re-useable CGs re-rendered & re-implemented so that I have a functioning base to work with. It'll be a long and monotonous process, but totally worth it for the end result :)

My goal for v0.08 is to do the bare minimum necessary to get everything playable. That's why some enemy encounters and scenes won't be redone until later versions (Like the Double Dick & Futa Zombies. Otherwise I will be stuck on v0.08 forever!)

So, what else have I been up to this week? Well, I've also been working on some new gameplay elements to help spice up your second trek through the Casino (From Bottom to top this time, but with the power on and lots more changed :P) Like these animated turrets (The Casino's Defense system now fully operational again thanks to Noah)

^ They will rotate between two positions, temporarily blocking off areas, so you will have to time some of your movements to avoid taking hits.

The Turrets will deal HP damage to Tiffany if she enters into their firing range (indicated by the laser sight), and Tiffany can be shot to death so items like the First Aid Kits will become more useful in this situation. They might not be so hard to wait for, but there will also be enemies chasing Tiffany through the halls trying to get a piece of her newly enhanced ass!

Now, these turrets work by tracking heat signatures, and since the infected are "dead" they won't get fired upon. But the turrets aren't there to stop the infected...

Also, Noah will have blocked off key areas with these mines:

Tiffany will explode & die if she walks onto them, so she will have to avoid them for now. In the future I may add a companion character with the skill to defuse explosive devices like this to open up new pathways. But for now, it's simply a way to force the player to take alternative routes. Still, I'm really proud of how the custom sprite turned out on this one so I had to make an animated gif of it to show off, haha.

As for commission pieces, still waiting on the same 3 pieces I had ordered last month... Hopefully I will have something to share by the next post. I have WIPs of all of them but not the finished pieces. Perhaps I will share some of the WIPs with Special Forces patrons later in the week, though I think it's always better to wait for the final product.

As for other bonus content, there are still some ongoing polls (Check the "Active Polls" tag) for $5 and $10 patrons to vote on to decide some things about upcoming v0.08 scenes. There may be a new poll or discussion up later in the week as well. There will also be a new DNA Valkyrie chapter tomorrow, & and Terminal Juggs Comic page out Wednesday for $10 patrons.

For those in the $1 & $5 tier who are not aware. $10 patrons will now get a weekly comic page staring Hardwood City Police Chief: Jasmine Juggs:

The script is being written by Serrated (her creator) and edited by me. Officer Juggs is planned as a companion character that Tiffany will meet up with at some point in ACT 2 of Terminal Desires. We wanted to use her as the point-of-view character to explore what was happening back in Hardwood City while Tiffany & Terry are stuck in the town of Ashton Lake.

For now, the comic will be exclusive to the Special Forces patrons. However, after a certain point, I will probably release completed scenes from the comic for everyone to read. I just don't know when that will be. Probably quite a while since we're just getting started now. The previous comic project "OIL", will be put on hold until a later date. I can only work on so much at once, and it makes much more logical sense for the bonus content to be related to the game I am making. It makes it much more relevant for the readers as well, since all of these comic characters will most likely be seen in the game at some point in ACT 2. Though that is admittedly a long ways away for now...

Right, that's all I have for you right now. Like I said, I'm going to spend the next week just re-rendering existing CGs for Tiffany's new bodies. So I'm not sure how much "new" content I'll have to show off next week. It might be time for a podcast instead...
