Hey guys,

This is something I've been meaning to ask you guys at the $10 tier for a while now. And that's with regards to what I'm referring to as "Bonus Content". This is stuff like OIL pages, Or DNA chapters with images (even though $5 patrons get those a few days later), Images from OLD or WIP image sets of mine, etc. This is not referring to any of the $10 polls, all Sneak Peek posts, or anything that relates to TD. This is purely about any extra content that isn't TD related like the ones mentioned above.

Now, I know that there have been a lot of weeks (probably close to half tbh) where I haven't had time to prepare anything extra that week. However, now that I'm working on TD and growing this Patreon page full time, I do have some extra time available to the point where it is possible for me to have a consistent weekly shcedule from now on. What I mean by this, is that it should be more than possible for me to dedicate at least 1 day per week to working on something extra for you guys. Like at least 1 comic page, image for DNA or something like that.

Only question is, what do you guys actually want to see from me?

I ask this, because sometimes it's hard to tell how many of you are interested in things like DNA, OIL, Succubus Girls, etc. Is it even worth spending time on something non TD related in the first place? Would you instead prefer a comic or something that was set in the TD universe? Or would you rather I just spend all of my time on developing TD and release no "Bonus Content" for you guys at all? (aside from polls and Sneak Peeks ofc).

It's a tough question. Personally, I think it's nice to be able to work on something fresh every now and then (I have so many series and characters I want to get around to after all) to keep the creative juices flowing. But also, I'd like to be able to provide you guys who support me at the $10 tier, more value for your investment. But obviously, if most people aren't interested in the first place, then I'm just wasting everyone's time in the end.

So, while this isn't necessarily going to be a definitive poll, it could be very influential if the results are telling enough. Please let me know out of the following options, which projects you'd be interested in seeing as "Bonus Content" for you guys. You should pick all of the ones that you wouldn't mind seeing. This is less about the one you'd like to see the most, and more about letting me know how many of these options you would be okay with.

Thanks so much for all your support. Since the Beta is not likely to be ready before the end of the month, I'll post an extra "Sneak Peek" for you on the 31st.

~ Jim

I personally prefer any comic continuation to the alternatives! Best of luck going full time! :)

Thanks. I like doing them as well. But obviously only if there is enough interest in it vs just spending time on the game.

I do love bonus content as much as the next man, "The Rematch" (Old comic?) being one of my faves! I would like to see a TD comic, shining some extra light on some characters, otherwise that time might be better spent at the game, atleast, that is my opinion on it.

How about a comic set in the Terminal Desires universe set before the events of the game? It would still star Tiffany and Terry, but they would be working a different case, in a different location, meeting different people, and some of those people could show up later in the Terminal Desires game.

Kvothe

I think the TD comic could be fun. Getting into backstories, dreams, or things that happen while Tif is elsewher, etc. Stuff that doesn't really work in the game itself.

Gryphon

I'd like the TD Comic to be "Meanwhile, in another part of the forest...": what's going on elsewhere in Ashton Lake with other people. For instance, what's Sydney been up to?

Jimjim3dx

For the TD Comic, my main idea was to tell the story of a character that is in Hardwood City (The city that Terry and Tiffany are from) that would take place during the same time period that Tiffany and Terry are at Ashton Lake. Tiffany would later meet up with this character in Act 2 of the game. That was my idea at least. Something that helps establish and set up a future character that will have an important role to play later in the story. But there are many other ideas as well like the ones you guys have suggested. I'll reply individually when I wake up. I have to get some sleep rn.

On the one hand I really like the idea of focusing on the game. On the other hand, I 100% get the desire to have multiple things running at once so you can work on one when you run into a roadblock with the other. I definitely prefer comics, and would particularly love seeing your old Emily character again. Maybe she could appear in the TD spinoff since the settings are similar enough, unless you already have plans for her. I'm also quite interested in OIL's setting and protagonist so I wouldn't mind seeing more of that at all. I've been putting off DNA Valkyrie but I should probably check that out soonish. While I do kinda like the Gremlins stuff, it got a little too much by the end for my tastes. Those are basically my opinions relating to stuff I'm most familiar with. Other things, I'm not too interested in or know extremely little about so they don't concern me much atm. Ultimately, I'm interested in the game and other stuff you do is a nice extra, so in my opinion you shouldn't stress out over deadlines and "broken promises" with the other stuff. They're just neat things you do and if you decide to make them public, nice, but not important with respect to me continuing to support you.

Mantucket

goin for the gremlins, I love that series

Yeah, The rematch was a fun one, though that will have a bit of a spiritual successor in TD with Sydney and an Extra Large Zombie at some point ofc ;) And yes, that would essentially be the plan for a TD comic, but probably mostly focusing on a character that will become more important later in the second act (Though you'll first see her in v0.08), so it would tie in nicely with the game itself by explaining what she's been up to by the time Tiffany meets up with her in-game.

Jimjim3dx

That's ofc another interesting idea. Just something Focusing on Tiffany and Terry's police work and regular life before hand. Would be interesting, but a part of it feels like I'd be limited by what I'd be able to do in terms of fetish content. The dicks would be smaller (less specially enhanced FWI type guys), She wouldn't be getting knocked up by anyone ofc, probably not a lot of beast content or zombie/monster stuff obviously. Since it would undermine the impact of those events in the game if she'd already experienced those extremes before. But there are still some interesting scenarios to explore and future characters to set up.

Jimjim3dx

I'll have several in-game systems planned that will allow you to see what the other girls and guys are up to when Tiffany is off exploring the town. One I'll introduce in v0.11 is a journal type of system. Certain characters will keep journals of their sexual escapades and by finding and reading them you'll be able to go back into the "memory" and see the scene from that particular character's perspective.

Jimjim3dx

Yes, there are some possibilities for that. Though I do have a lot of mysteries regarding certain characters like Sydney that I'd prefer to explore in the game itself. But it could certainly work for other characters.

Jimjim3dx

Thanks I appreciate it. For me, the more important aspect is being able to give you guys a bit more for your buck since you're supporting me at this tier. For Emily, she actually has a tie in with OIL in some capacity/aspects alongside her own story. But that doesn't mean that she, Ridori, Cynthia, or other girls of mine can't make a cameo in TD since this is a entirely separate universe where they can play entirely different roles. Got a lot planned with OIL and certainly want to continue it some day regardless, it's just a matter of when. But I guess the same can be said for most of these. Anyway, Hope you do end up liking DNA so far. A novel format easily allows more story to be told at a much faster pace than say 1 comic page per week. So I think that's the best way to get meaty content. But I get it if people aren't into reading erotica like that or not into the setting/characters. I honestly agree with you with regards to gremlins. Well, I like where part 2 left off, but the idea for part 3 was going to be even more corrupt/depraved so I'm not sure if as many people would like it. But that's why I'm presenting the option of a new series of gremlins comics rather than a direct part 3 continuation. But we'll have to wait see there. Anyway yeah, I really appreciate it dude, thanks a lot for all the encouragement.

Should totally make a Gremlins 3 comic
