v0.07 Weekly Update #3 (Patreon)

Hello Everyone,

Going to start apologizing for the lack of content posted here over the last 2 weeks. For those who don't follow the discord server, a general trip to the optometrists identified what they thought was a "Roth Spot" on my right eye after taking a retina scan. Since it could have been the symptom of a whole bunch of nasty things, they sent me to get it checked out asap and take a bunch of blood tests etc.

Anyway, after driving around to medical appointments all week I found out 2 days ago that it was basically a false alarm and I'm healthy on all fronts since my blood tests were all fine and the spot seems to have faded or healed since the first scan last week. So, that was an annoying waste of time, but at least I have peace of mind that I'm not dying from anything.

The majority of my time these last 2 weeks have been occupied by following up on this medical issue and working at my night shift job. I've gotten sick of how much time and energy my nigh shift job drains from me, so I have decided to resign and focus full time on the development of Terminal Desires. It's a bit of a risky financial move in the short-term, but I think it will be well worth it in the long-term. My last shift will be Thursday next week (I didn't want to screw them over on short notice and leave on bad terms). So I have about 20 hours left of shifts with them before I'm finally free :')

I'm looking forward to putting 100% of my time and energy into TD from Thursday onward. It's a move I honestly should have considered a while ago now. If nothing else, it will make me happier, and there will be much less getting in the way of consistent updates and bonus content for $10 patrons, etc.

Right, with that out of the way, Let's get you guys some previews:

Alright, so I'll start with a couple of small gameplay things I've added or adjusted over the last 2 weeks. First of all, I've added a toggle option to disable the screen-shake effect that happens during the sex scenes for those who dislike it. I've also added an option when repairing Tiffany's outfit to use multiple repair kits and repair her whole outfit as once. That way you don't have to go back into the menu 3 times just to get back to "full armor". I also installed a small plugin that allows me to resize some sprites. I thought it would come in handy for helping distinguish some of the upcoming enemy sprites better, like the new Alpha Zombie boss you can encounter in v0.07

^It's a bit dodgy, but it does the job in helping distinguish the size difference a bit. Plus the color difference.

That also shows off a tiny part of one of the new floors at the Casino. My level designer has been hard at work on finalizing all 9 floors of the building. I just spent the last hour play testing it and the two different gameplay paths to give him some feedback for the final version. It's coming along very well and I think it will add some much needed sustenance to the gameplay portion of the game since v0.06 was very light on that front.

Anyway, let's get back to the Alpha Zombie, and take a quick peek at the start of his combat sex scene with Tiffany:

On the subject of new enemies, as you probably know by now, I recently closed the voting for the 2K Patron goal poll that was open to everyone. Since the top 2 results were so close, I'll be adding both the Bestially-Infused Zombies & the Sleeper Zombies as enemies in upcoming versions. Remember to vote here to help decide which set of genitals the first variation of the Bestially-Infused Zombies will have.

Touching real quick on upcoming 2D commissions. I've still yet to hear back from 3 of the artists who were working on pieces, but Flowerxl has started work on the first of two piece I will be commissioning from them. The first piece is of Lara, and will be a simple pinup with a nude and clothed version. As for the second piece, that one will be based on an idea that you guys can suggest in the comments of this post. There's still time to post your suggestion or idea for that. I just wanted to see their take on Lara first and figured you guys wouldn't mind seeing that too. ;)

Now to leave you off with some more shots of the Debra and Terry scene. I already showed one of these without text to $10 patrons a few weeks ago, but i wanted to let everyone else know about Vanessa's small roll in this scene.

^ She's not the type to interrupt or join in, but I think she'll have some fun watching like the closeted pervert she is!
