v0.05 Weekly Update #2 (Patreon)

Hey guys, sorry for the wait on this weekly update, especially after promising to be more prompt after the last one, but I really wanted to finish some things off to show you guys and ended up running into a couple of unexpected problems along the way.

Anyway... For those in the $1-$5 tiers who don't know yet, one of the reasons I was estimating the release of v0.05 to now be mid-late February (Probably End of February TBH) is because I've decided to introduce a new character into the game to add to the content in this version.

Meet Deputy Sheriff 'Debra Derringer', the only surviving member of Ashton Lake's Sheriff's Station:

You'll encounter her alongside her trusty steed "Big Barney" (Image on the 'upcoming-release' discord channel where I'll be posting all the discord images from now on to keep the general-discussion cleaner). You can find them through one of the new farm quests (or just by exploring one of the new outskirt areas) and help her out of a tricky situation...

This southern, country gal won't start off quite as slutty as some of you might hope (though I'm sure that's a bonus for many others), but you'll be able to corrupt her as time goes on (along with the other girls) in future versions, if you so chose.

Not only that, but I've been spending a little extra time on her this week in order to test out the new companion system I've been wanting to add in for a while. For a portion of her quest, you'll be able to take Debra with you, have her help you in fights, and have her get stripped and lose clothing just like Tiffany does.

This is just me testing the waters for now. Obviously I don't have the time to add the combat sex scenes for every enemy type with her in this version since that will add about 3 weeks to dev time. So it won't be the "full spectacular" right away. But there will be many features added to flesh out the companion system in later versions. Most likley in v0.09 where I plan for 'Ali' to join Tiffany as the first proper companion with combat sex scenes for each enemy type and everything. But eventually all the other girls will become potential companions for Tiffany as well, with their own level, stats, skills, sex scenes, events, etc. 

So yes, this is the bulk of where my focus has been this last week. On completing all of the Character CG's for Debra (32 with variations included so far), starting work on the companion system and her introduction scene (which will include up to 2 sex scenes depending on player choice/success in combat :P). It's basically like adding a second Tiffany to the game so there's a surprising amount that goes into the game itself just to make simple things like the "armor" stripping feature work without a bunch of bugs. 

I'm still ironing some things out, but it's all worth it in the end if it means fun things to come in future versions once she's all set up and ready to go!

So anyway, just to recap what's changed from the original "Development Roadmap" I posted several weeks ago, v0.05 will instead be coming out by the end of February, but now includes a new character and 3 new sex scenes (6 total + a couple small "extras") so it will end up being around double the content than what was originally planned for the January release so I think it all works out in the end. 

Special thanks to 'Serrated' who's been helping me design and write for Debra. Some of you may recognize him as the writer and creator of the popular "Officer Juggs" character featured in a number of 'Meet and Fuck' flash games. He'll be helping me out with some of the writing from now on so I hope you'll look forward to some of the crazy scenarios we'll be coming up with in future versions.

As for a quick note on some poll results before I go: the extra combat sex scene to be added to v0.05 will be the: "Double Dick Zombie Blowjob/Titfuck [One in Mouth, One between Tits]" option. So look forward to that. 

Also, I really apologize for not offering as many polls and things to vote on these last few weeks for the $5 Patrons. I had planned for there to be polls up for a number of designs for upcoming Casino characters in v0.06, and for Tiffany's increased proportions, etc. However, I really just haven't had the time to render out test images and designs for those models yet. Simply because I obviously have to focus on v0.05's scenes first. I kind of miscalculated that when I planned on what polls would be up this month. But don't worry, all those polls will still be coming. Just at the very end of the month/start of March as I begin work on v0.06 I will try and think of some things for you guys to vote on before then, that I can do without first having to spend my time working on character designs. 

Finally, in regards to the $1500 goal quest. I'll still be accepting submissions despite having dropped in pledges since then (which happens every month as expected) there's still plenty of time to submit your ideas, so check out that post for more details. Submissions will close on the 15th of February. Where it will then be put to a poll for all patrons to vote on. Though it won't be added until around v0.08-v0.010.
