v0.05 Weekly Update #1 (Patreon)

Alright, I've been putting this off for far too long. In the beginning I didn't like the idea of making one of these progress reports without a lot of interesting visuals to show off but the longer I leave it the more images I feel like I need to have to show off in order to make the wait worth it. So I'm just going to post a small update now and then commit to weekly update posts from now on and stick to it, no matter how many visuals I have to show off.

Not that I don't have visuals. In fact, I've posted 4 beast images already to the discord server's general-discussion channel (since I can't post them here). And answered/clarified a fair number of questions there today as well. I'd recommend joining the discord server if you haven't already so you can access those images and discussions. You'll just need to link you discord account to your Patreon account.

Especially since v0.05 will be very "farm heavy" in terms of content so many of the previews will have to be posted there instead.

I also showed off the 2D sprites that I finally made for Tiffany's farm outfit. But here's some images of it in game along with the menu CGs:

I've also been working on a number of other, less exciting things.

Some new maps and areas, (none of which are finished yet) including a few that can be accessed after obtaining a new crowbar item. There will be some valuable items that players can find and sell in order to help them save up for the shotgun (if Tiffany wasn't impregnated by Robert). There will also be new forest and farm areas to explore, including inside Jebadiah's house (obviously). I'll show some of these area's off next week as I complete them.

Alongside a couple of other little features I haven't already talked about:

For example, you may have noticed that I added some "Cloth Scraps" and "Needle & Thread" items recently. Well, in v0.05 you can now speak to Vanessa after getting her outfit, and she can combine those items (3 CS + 1 N&T) to create Armor Repair Kit's for Tiffany.

You'll also be able to exchange some unwanted pills and medical items with Hitomi or Dr. Milburn (Whoever is in charge) for others, though their range will be limited.

And for the sake of those $1 Patrons who were unaware. I'm adding 1 additional sex scene to v0.05 that is currently being voted on by $5+ patrons so there's that to look forward to as well.

I've also now received a number of great submissions for the $1500 goal quest. But there's still plenty of time to submit your ideas, so check out that post for more details.

Other things I worked on include the other v0.05 features/improvements discussed in the development road map post so check that out if you've forgotten or if you are new.

Anyway, I'll leave you all with a new preview from the Jebadiah sex scene. I'm taking my time with this one, I'd like it to have some nice foreplay at the start like with Robert's impregnation scene.

And just a quick note about the estimated release date of v0.05. I'm honestly not sure... At this point it's definitely going to be in February. And I am aiming for the first week still, but I'm also prioritizing adding everything that I want to add as well. Every release so far I've tried to stick to a specific date that I set weeks in advance and ended up missing deadlines and having to cut corners, planned content and rush things at the last minute. I really want to do some interesting scenes in this version and it'd be a real shame to have to cut things here. But we'll see. I don't want to take too long with it Either. I'll have more solid news on this next week as I've made more progress.

Remember to check the discord's general-discussion channel for the 4 beast content images I posted (you may have to scroll up for some of them). From now on I'll be striving to post these on an actual weekly basis, as they are supposed to be, regardless of my current progress since I want to ensure that I'm communicating properly with you guys and not waiting until I'm satisfied with some arbitrary amount if images before posting what should be a simple progress report.
