Quick (not-so-weekly) Update (Patreon)

Hey guys,

Sorry for my lack of posts here over the last couple of days. I wasn't able to get enough done on the game to do a proper weekly update for you guys, and I didn't want to keep you all waiting for info on what I have gotten done. So I'm giving everyone this quick update in the meantime.

After lots of time wasted at work and dealing with issues trying to update Sydney's model over the last 4-5 days I've finally finished all of the models (and written all of the quest dialogue but not implemented it yet). So what I have left to do now is the rest of the new renders and the maps/gameplay. I am confident I can get this done by December 7th, which will be the release date for v0.03 as decided by an overwhelming majority of the $5+ patrons who wanted the date pushed back to allow me the time I needed to get everything done, including Sydney's introduction and the zombie 3-way scene.

Anyway, Sydney's model took the longest since she's an old model that I'm updating for the second time now since I first made her back in 2012. Anyway, I'm quite pleased with all the improvements I've made to her. I think when you see a proper render of her you'll agree that she fits the TD cast quite well. Speaking of which, I'm rendering an image of her new model right now while writing this post to show to $10 Patrons. Everyone else will get to see her soon enough.

For now, since I don't have a proper weekly update about the game, I'll show you the other two models I made.

This is the old Dairy Farmer character. With the help of suggestions from the 'Special Forces' tier I've decided to call him 'Jebediah Slocum'. You'll be visiting his farm for one of v0.03's side missions, and he'll have some tasks for Tiffany to complete. Most people will be glad to know that he's quite literally hung like a horse.

While he won't necessarily be getting a sex scene in this version, he will definitely be getting plenty of action in future versions.

Anyway, speaking of characters who are "hung like a horse"... you'll have to go to the discord server to see the render of the Zombie Horse. Tiffany is standing next to him to give you an idea of his size.

That's it for now unfortunately. Sorry about the lack of new info or in-game screenshots. I'll have an actual weekly update for you some time during the week. I have some opinion polls I'd like to do for the sake of data gathering. Mainly on what choices most people have made so far. I'll put those up later today. There will also be the content poll for v0.04 for the $5+ patrons to vote in. It'll be a bit different for the month of December, but I'll cover that soon.

Apart from the Sydney image going up in around 15-20 minutes time, the $10 Patrons will also get the final part of OIL's first chapter later, the first look at Sydney's outfit tomorrow, and a couple more sneak peeks throughout the week.
