Oh boy, what kind of crazy deal has she negotiated this time!? O.o

Alright, so I've got about 2 images left to render for the basement scene. And about 3 to render for the zombie anal scene. If I went ahead with a beta build at the end of the 29th as planned, it wouldn't include the zombie anal scene (as I'd still be working on it.) And would definitely be missing some other things as well.

My question to you guys at the Special forces tier is this:

Do you actually want a Beta version?

What I mean by this is, making an extra beta version for you guys to play 1-2 days early probably will just take up more of my time than it's worth, given that finishing the content right now is probably more important than bugs (I can always patch those with a 0.02a update soon after release.) But since I did say you guys could get a chance to test it early, I'll let you guys decide. I'm just warning you that it probably won't be the best way to experience the content for the first time if a superior, fixed version will be coming ~48 hours later. I imagine most people would rather their first time be the v0.02 and not the v0.02beta anyway. But let me know what you think?

Also, I may switch to charge per creation rather than monthly for future versions. I'll still intend to release a version every month, but that way I won't be rushing to get things done by the 30th/31st every month. :)

Also, I'm a bit of a perfectionist sometimes, so maybe I care more about getting all the bugs before anyone sees them then some people are.

Thx for giving us the choice =) But I think that everyone who gets to play a beta should tolerate any bugs anyways (that is what a beta is for) but on all those sites everyone bitches about the game being buggy and therefore shitty devs... I hate that. that's the very defenition of a beta ffs. But I digress. GIMME GIMME GIMME! =D=D

I personally don't mind if there are some bugs and a couple missing images. But, if it takes up a bunch of time for you to release the beta version it might be better just to have one release. I wouldn't want you to have put in a bunch of extra hours just to get the beta release out. I pay more so just because I want to support the project and not to get an early release, but that's just me. Either way, you're doing a pretty great job with this game! Keep up the good work!

Yes definitely would like the beta release. I think people are really looking to test the game and give you feedback for bugfix or changes in the final version. And obviously people who prefer the more polished version could just not download and wait for the final version. Win win for everyone :D I assume you test the game yourself for bugs anyways, the people who play beta are just helping you with that, I don't think anyone playing beta is looking for a really polished or complete experience.

I personally don´ t mind waiting an extra 48 hours.

Thanks for the feedback guys, to be honest it's less about it being buggy and more about it not being done yet. SO I think I'll skip the beta build. Maybe I can compromise and put something out on the 30th, but works kicking my ass right now so I need all the time I can get to finish this I think. Basement scene renders are done. Got to edit a number of images before I can add them to the game though.
