Small Reminder: Change Your Password (Patreon)

Yes I know...some of you probably have heard this a hundred times in the recent days, but I'd feel guilty not addressing the Patreon data leak just in case you missed the event or emails, and passing along the advice of changing your password. A 'snapshot' of the site was copied on October 1st via their dev site. While passwords were encrypted, it's possible, apparently, with the code that was copied, to -eventually-, crack them. Tax info and credit card info of course, were either incredibly more encrypted or not stored on site at all.

As much as the Patreon-haters and people who think paysites are literally worse than Hitler would love to see this site go down, if every site that got hacked went down there'd be no damn internet. I don't even use this as a paysite, maybe 'paywall-lite' at MOST, while the general goal of thanking you guys with content as you support stuff everyone enjoys is what the whole point of it is! And I aim to keep doing it! So thank you, again, for sticking through his bump in the road. Keep calm, stay alert, carry on.
