Wheew~ Buckling down to finish Freya's pinup!

Once again, as per usual, I seem to take the chance to experiment with new stuff on the pinup. This time it was a kind of rim-light and bounce-light with gradients for effects. It's interesting, I see where I could use it in some specific pictures in the future. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it, which is what I always like to feel--both for you guys and my ability to use it in future poster prints/other stuff.

I was curious how you shade actually. Do you have a separate shade layer set to multiply (like with a grayish-purple) clipping your colors layer or do you fill in the colors with a painted style directly on your colors layer, going from dark to light? I mainly ask this in relation to how you do hair and tails as those two highly organic things bug me to this day.

I do both equally really, it depends on the picture. In this one, I did the former(multiply) and then use other layers like overlay to accent it, then just normal layers for bounce/rim lights

Wow! That outfit looks so good on her. Almost a shame it comes of in the alts. Almost ;) I’ve never played final fantasy, 9. The earlier entries, especially the PlayStation one era, passed me by. But I’ve seen Freya around in other media and I didn’t think much of her. This however is super nice! I love the orange and yellow color palette applied to the desert background. Coupled with the lighting it just looks nice.

This is pretty fantastic! It's nice to see popular characters in outfits they aren't usually depicted in but which are still appropriate for them. I love the sheer effect on the silks, too. Seeing most of someone's body through clothing like that is quite appealing. The only thing I think this is missing is a sheer bottom option, haha. ;D But everything about is great. Nice job, Fluff!
