more like.... horngry. ;P but seriously, it's more like, her intense experience with Bailey made her senses go into overdrive for the first time and instinct took over. think of it as lighting a fire in a house without knowing what you're doing and the whole house goes up.

A rather strange and weird transition. I almost forgot that they where trying to find out why predators where 'going savage' which sort of makes the scene less awkward. I guess the long period since reading the first act takes away from the scene.
