Feature Priority Poll (Patreon)

Hello Patrons!

I need your feedback on feature priorities for the upcoming updates as I continue to focus on MangaOCR integration, Auto OCR, and the Mac version.

Here are some features I'm considering adding in the short term: ‎

Snipping OCR

Press a hotkey to draw a selection box on the overlay, allowing you to extract text from the selected area (similar to Windows "Snipping Tool"). This is handy for quickly scanning a single word or character and aligns well with MangaOCR, which achieves higher accuracy with shorter text segments. 

Example with MangaOCR:

Image Filters

Create custom image filters to enhance text clarity, leading to improved accuracy. You can apply different filters to each OCR Region (region of an OCR Template).

Example with MangaOCR:

RAW Image:

Result: それじゃまさの件、頼んだぞ。

Processed Image:

Result: それじゃ表札の件、頼んだぞ。

OCR Logs

Keep a log of the text you've worked with in the overlay and another log for all the text extracted from an OCR Region (region of an OCR Template).

Language Filter

Filter out OCR results that don't contain characters of the target language.
