We re-took the motion capture footage for the animation during the most recent Patrons-only stream, and thankfully the sensor issue in Kish's suit seems to have been resolved =)

This is the result of that take after a bit of cleanup.  I had to move the characters a bit and adjust them to each others' size and positions, as well as align them with the props in the environment as necessary.  I also cleaned up the foot step data, making sure the feet are planted on the ground when they should be, and not sliding around.

I even completely replaced some of the mocap data with keyframes.  The data for Kish's legs while he's on his knees wasn't usable, so I just keyframed that portion, but kept the mocap data for the rest of his body.

There's still a LOT of work to do, however.  I have to clean up the hands in a similar way to what I did with the feet, but that's going to be a bit more complicated since the hands aren't just going to be targeted to a static object like the floor.  Instead, the targeting will need to be dynamic, sometimes targeted to a body part of the same character, sometimes a body part of the other character, and sometimes a static object.  This is a little tricky to do without creating dependency loops, which 3DS Max really REALLY doesn't like XD  In fact, it tends to create a pretty horrible error where it will allow you to create the loop and save the scene, but will crash immediately when you attempt to reopen that scene.

I know how I'm going to do it, since I had to do the same thing for Fox in the Stable.  But still, I'll probably save that step for last, after I do the rest of the cleanup <=)

Enjoy!
