SOOOO here's the page I hinted at earlier last month (and July) that I was working on as an edit/ switch to the page in Chapter 5 where we had the original introduction to Norman's family backstory,

I felt that this part sets up the awkwardness/story/pain better because it gives us a glimpse, but doesn't give us the whole story. And it makes readers ask questions like "Where are his parents and sister now?" "Why is their photo in the dusty attic?" "Why doesn't Norman look excited to talk about them?"
