Comic Update 025 - 6/12/2021 (Patreon)

HELLO HAPPY PRIDE MONTH 🌈💕👹🦄�

hAWT gay kissing gifs aside, here's your comic update for June 2021:

First, the final pieces for the first print volume are under way! aka NEW PAGES WOOT WOOT 🥳

After some review (aka combing through the current pages for volume 1 for things I wanted to tweak before putting them to print) I decided I had some unfinished business with Chapters 1-6. 

I wrote a shorter 23-page script of extra comic pages that Daryl and I will be working on over the next couple weeks. These pages will be canon and will be inserts to fill some plot holes and gaps in logic/story structure/character arcs/etc. 

My simple text edit/review turned into this LOL 😆

Some examples of edits/plot holes we'll be filling/things we'll be correcting and fixing include...

- Adding some pages in Jin/Nami's fight with Cerberus to show how Nami's magic works and how Cerberus' powers work

- Adding some space for Norman to explain his magic background/do some magic world-building

- Adding some clarification on confusing elements of the story like demon contracts/soulmate bonds.

I'll post the pages here for y'all to read when they're completed. I don't have a timeline yet for this because Daryl and I literally started talking about it a week ago. That being said, once this project is done I will start the kickstarter campaign for the print volume. I'm so excited and I hope you are toooooooo!!!!

Honestly, side tangent, it feels so good to be working on BKI stuff again. Not that I've taken a break or anything. I just haven't felt confident to work on it since February. BUT ITS BACK IN MOTION AND IM SO HAPPY

Second, I've started the Chapter 7 script and am working on a rough draft of this. I'll keep you all posted as this moves forward.

Since Daryl and I are prioritizing the extra pages for the print of Volume 1, Chapter 7 likely won't start until early Fall of 2021. This is just an FYI so y'all are up to date on where we are at and what we're working on.
