A little backstory on BKI, I got myself an iPad Pro as a graduation present in the fall of 2017. I started drawing and sketching gay romance and art. I really got into DeviantArt, Tumblr, and Pinterest, and that's where I discovered Daryl Toh's work! His art style was so inspirational to me and has had a huge impact on me as a writer and artist. 

One day, I saw he was taking commissions on his DeviantArt page, so I decided to reach out to him and see if he could create my OC's, Norman and Cal. I really wanted to see my character ideas brought to life in his professional style (my art was still...coming together...at the time xD).

This was the first ever drawing of Norman and Cal Daryl completed for me, back in October 2017. It was the piece that sparked the BKI full-blown comic and was my intro to Daryl :)

This piece means the world to me and I'm so happy to share it with you all. I need to make a giant poster of it someday haha
