Jelly Beans (Patreon)

Well, that was a lot of fun to colour! The person who commissioned it asked for white encasement sacks, so I guess they don't really look like jelly beans anymore, lol. Oh well! For this one I looked at a lot of photo references of rubber and how the surface gets lighter or even white wherever the highest tension is, so I made these damsel's hands and knees have a shine to them. The rest was about shading where the surface was slack, and making sure to have highlights around the edges to make the surface seem reflective and rubbery. 

Too bad these girls aren't having as much fun with this as I did! ^^
