I'm interested but I no longer like having a printer / scanner, they cause too much frustration when they malfunction, so I just use my phone camera and photoshop. I DO have blank paper. My question, would you relax the requirements to allow phone pictures of paper instead of using a scanner?

You actually CAN scan from a smartphone. There are scanner apps - and I simply scan from Notes on my iPhone. So I don’t think that you need a physical scanner… 😉
