Defiled Cherub

Defiled Cherubs are humanoid abominations found near the 'temple' of The Defiled Seraph. Investigations have determined that they were members of the Children of One cult, swept up in the failed ritual that gave rise to The Defiled Seraph. Their bodies have been grotesquely altered; in place of arms, they possess rows of oversized fingers that sprout from the sides of their torsos and heads, vaguely resembling wings, hence the name "Defiled Cherub." Most Defiled Cherubs have lost their sense of self, devoting their life to wandering about the lair of the Defiled Seraph, inscribing and reciting its absurd doctrines. Although a few retain the ability to communicate, they are known to speak only in falsehoods.

I was working on The Defiled Seraph and thought, since The Defiled Seraph is about ritual and experiment, might as well work on the two unfinished trials of Ink since one of the prompts is 'Ritual'. So here you go, what happened to some of those poor cultists that were present during the ritual~
