Silence and Sculptor

A pair of shortsword who belongs to an assassin that tried to infiltrate The Enlightened Hall 5 years ago. The Silence is equipped with an eye of a Basilisk that was preserved by a necromantic enchantment, although it doesn’t have the petrifying effect, it still can paralyze those who meet its gaze. Meanwhile, The Sculptor is designed to inject a poison produced by a poison gland from a cockatrice that was embedded on the sword and also preserved by the same necromantic enchantment. The poison effect is not as potent and instant as the one produced by a living cockatrice but is still strong enough to petrify its victim in less than a minute.

This one is really difficult, to show something 'inanimate' is hard. So I go with easier concept, using both Basilisk and Cockatrice, two troublesome creature with the petrify ability. I want to at least avoid medusa, and since I haven't made a twin blade this year, might as well make a pair now~

That's a neat looking pair weapon~ *thinks of a profile for them for a dnd campaing* oh... i wonder, if they are used together on the same target the effect of petrifing is actually stronger, then on each seperate blade~ yet even paralyze and slow petrify effects seems nasty for a paired weapon. Interesting one indeed~

for the stats, I imagine that if the poison only activate on critical hit (or act faster on critical hit), the paralyze effect would guarantee it. thus, pair of them would work together perfectly.
