So first of all, sorry for the late reward >___<

But here it is, from the previous sketch of 'Celestial Beholder' but with a tweaked concept by incorporation the prompt "Anathema" into it.

To refresh what I talked about in the sketch post, the whole concept is based on what I found out about the Etymology of the word Anathema, which is :

Anathema derives from Ancient Greek: ἀνάθεμα, anáthema, meaning "an offering" or "anything dedicated", itself derived from the verb ἀνατίθημι, anatíthēmi, meaning "to offer up". In the Old Testament, it referred to both objects consecrated to divine use and those dedicated to destruction in the Lord's name, such as enemies and their weapons during religious wars. Since weapons of the enemy were considered unholy, the meaning became "anything dedicated to evil" or "a curse".

The duality of it, the contradiction between the two meanings of the word, lead me to make this creature. A necessary act and selfless sacrifice for the greater good that in the end considered as something unholy and become something dangerous to the world that it supposed to protect.

Somewhere in the description and lore of the overseer, I put some references to a previous creature I made, let's see if any of you manage to find which one it is. The clue... well, It's related to what happened to the Eye of Empathy and its current status.

I hope you like this one, and lastly, one more announcement~

The next Patron Creation would be by our very first Archivist and long time Patron, Archivist PrussiAntique

Please look forward to what we're going to make for next month, and thank you for your continued support!

Cheers!
