Archived Arsenal | Swordtember - 2024 (Patreon)

Hi everyone~

The time has once again come for our annual September challenge~!

As I mentioned last year, I decided that 4 years back-to-back is enough for our sword collection. So this year, I want to branch out to do different things, and apparently, based on last week's vote, the majority of you want to see me make all the options there XD

So here it is; this year, the challenge is called "Archived Arsenal," and I'm going to do

#Swordtember (Day 1-10)

• All swords and sword adjacent designs~

#Speartember (Day 11-20)

• I generalize this as anything consisting of a long stick and deadly apparatus at its end. This will include spear, halberd, glaive, scythe, poleaxe, pike, and anything adjacent to any of those.

#Shieldtember (Day 21-30)

• All shields and shields adjacent designs~

Anyone is welcome to try this challenge. Remember, you don't have to force yourself to make one artwork/day or go through all 30 prompts. You can take your time or even pick a number of prompts that interest you and inspire you. You don't even have to make a polished artwork, or any artwork at all, a concept or writing might also be interesting to do. Set your own goal and what you want to practice, and flex through this challenge.

 If you're participating in the challenge as well, feel free to share it or discuss it on our Discord server. I often do some quick brainstorming there whenever I'm stuck with a certain prompt.

Since I'm going to deviate from Faith Schaffer's original Swordtember challenge, I made two versions of the prompt list with minor changes in case any of you want to do this challenge and stick to swords. Feel free to share this list, and let's have some fun~~
