So... how does the staircase connect? It looks like it goes up on the right hand side of the main hall, but on the upstairs map its on the left hand side.

The stairs are connected by a 'landing' or set of extra stairs that cross the hallway where the bottom and top set of stairs exit the respective floors. I didn't draw it in because it would block the view of the entrance way and its not really necessary for gameplay in my opinion to show that direct connection. Hopefully that makes sense to you :) Thanks for the question Robert!

Actually Robert, I've taken another look and ya, I completely see your point. I've drawn the banister going all the way up, where it should turn left to indicate there is a route that way. Thanks for pointing this out. I'll changed that section and update the files shortly.

Unfortunately i cant use this map because my group might just end up fighting orphans and i gotta draw the line somewhere.

I think this could also work as some sort of city watch station with very minor adjustments

So, on either side of the bathroom on the first floor, I can't quite make out what those are. There's the room on the far left, and then a narrow hallway between it and the bathroom that...I can't tell what that's for either. Then to the left of the dining room seems ot be a smaller dining room?

Hey Rechan :) OK, so rooms to the left of the toilet at the entrance are: Reception and closet (cleaning supplies). Playroom on the right next to the stairs, then classroom, large dining hall below that. To the left of the large Dining hall is a study hall/room. Large Bathroom seems obvious and to the left is the pantry and then the cloak/changing rooms. Kitchen is obvious, to the right is the washroom, and then some servant or teachers quarters. Upstairs is mostly self explanatory, The Matrons quarters being the central room. Victorian facilities of this type were actually rather larger than this with multiple buildings including chapels, headmasters house and more. Plus some weird additions including the 'Shoe room' and just a room labelled 'Coals' which I assume was full of coal :P

Pantry! Servant's quarters! STUDY HALL. That makes sense! Yes, thank you. :)
