John Michael Higgins , Michael McKean, Henry Winkler, Oliver Platt, Wayne Wilderson, Rhea Seehorn, Alex Borstein An adaptation of the award-winning BBC series of the same name, "The Thick of It" is an amusing and caustic behind-the-scenes look at Washington - the foolishness as well as the poignancy. The single camera pilot takes a comedic approach to the absurd world of politics, where connections and (all too often) dumb-luck can make you an overnight star.

i also want to request the pilot Smothered on Vimeo, i really wanted to watch it so badly.

Watched this fresh as not seen the original. Great talent in this one. I thought the script was "Good" but could have been written a bit more. Felt like we went over the same things a few times and I was like we get it move along. I think it was played a bit dumb when it should have been played very smart and confusing around the main character. Like everyone knew what was going on except him. But his whole team seemed a bit dense.
