Hi friends!

Some time ago I came to you with a question about the order in which to view the main Star Wars movies (Episodes 1 - 9). You all overwhelmingly picked that I should watch them in release order, starting with Ep 4, and I am so glad that I've done this!
On the off chance you haven't seen my Star Wars reactions, you can check out the edited versions on this playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcDK0kdb-e8-LGnbAHrAHJpZ5XEh6lnXD
And the full-length reactions are accessible in this collection for members of Reel Dealers and upwards, INCLUDING my reaction to the Holiday Special! https://www.patreon.com/collection/462477

In any case, we've settled on release order for the main saga films... but that leaves us with the question of what to do about Solo and Rogue One?

I could potentially continue with release order, which would mean Rogue One would be watched after Episode 7, and Solo would be after episode 8. But I have received a LOT of comments saying I should watch those after the prequels, since that's where they fit chronologically.

So I once again turn to you, my lovely patrons. What should I do?
Pick from the poll options and/or sound off in the comments below, I wanna hear you!
But please be mindful of spoilers :)

I’d watch them back to back. It doesn’t make sense to mix them into the sequel trilogy, as that’s a standalone story. Of course, you could just skip Solo imo, but I’m guessing you don’t want to do that.

I would watch them after watching the final episode, if you watch them at all. They are not part of the saga, and even Disney, who had a couple other side movies planned, cancelled movies like this. My fear is that we are going to get stuck watching 3 or 4 weeks worth of bad side movies just to get to the final two episodes, which are not worth waiting that long for.

Is Lord of the Rings coming up soon?
