Update - 2024 February (Patreon)

Hello,

First, I want to thank everyone who participated in the poll that I posted.  It really helped me focus on which direction I should be moving.  I'm planning to 'jump ahead' in Beachside Benefits to the parts that more of you are looking forward to.  We'll loop around to the Seaweed Monster eventually (maybe).  Thank you all for your input!

Second, I apologize for not having any new comic pages this week.  I was hoping to have two new pages of 'Beachside Benefits' to post, and while I've been working on them, I just haven't been able to finish.

Up until Valentine's I was working super hard, and I'm really proud of the eight-page comic that I did.  If you haven't seen it yet, please consider going to Newgrounds and checking it out. ( https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/firsted/valentine-s-2024-storybook )

However, I think I pushed myself a bit TOO hard, and collapsed a bit after.  I took 3 days off in a row (the first time I've done that), including Valentine's.  I was up late the day before Valentine's and worked Valentine's just to get things finished in time.  Ultimately, I think what makes me productive is sleeping regularly and eating right.  'Crunching' to get things done I think really took it out of me.

Anyways, I'm very sorry to not have any new pages for you all.  I ended up posting some artwork from comics that haven't been seen before.  Next week we should be back and running with Beachside Benefits.

Finally, I'm happy to see activity on my Discord.  Thank you to those of you who stop by.  Everyone in the 'Wicked' Tier, feel free to message me whatever in the 'Artist Hangout' as I'm always there when I'm working.  I'm also thinking of adding a 'Suggestions' chat where people can drop ideas for things they'd like to see, or for projects they want to see worked on.  It's very motivating to know that people are excited for a particular project, so just saying that you're looking forward to it helps immensely.
