Miskatonic Librarian Chad Anctil sent this fantastic tutorial for how he is building up the book as the Leaves are released.

Starting with an adjustable scrapbook (the kind held together with bolts that can be swapped out for larger ones as the book grows), Chad built up a "spine" out of foamcore strips glued together. He then glued lengths of embroidery thread at intervals along this spine. The Quires are then slipped under the threads so that the length of thread ends up at the middle page of each Quire. As the book grows, more foamcore strips and embroidery thread can be added to make room.

What I love most about this is that it looks and feels like a book, keeps the pages in the correct order, and accommodates the continued growth with ease. Great job Chad!

Yeah! That’s awesome. Much easier than my method. I was having trouble sourcing the human skin anyway.

Is there a propping up the mythos recommended scrap book binder for this use?
