Great great great Great episode. - Yes those are all stars on Utena’s face. Pretty sure someone counted them and got around 14. For reference, Lord Enorme has 4… and who said Utena was weak? - Loco Musica’s VA is a talented singer, and I respect those sorts of VAs so much for being able to “sing” so horribly for the joke. Coming from a good singer myself I don’t think I could purposefully sing that badly haha. - You can really tell that the fun and kinky BDSM play Utena does is drastically different from the dark and torturous whipping Lord Enorme does. Like, Leberflume is flinching away from the sight, it’s that bad. It’s really interesting how the show (and manga) manage to create that contrast between the two. It only gets better from here in terms of plot, so I’ll be waiting for the next reaction 🫡
