I actually really loved this episode. For how absurd this show is as a whole, this episode had a very good message.

This show continues to surprise with how wholesome it is able to make it's absurd concept as it continues tackling different themes very well.

I think I like it a lot that the show kind of makes a way for there to be a bunch of little romance short stories with interesting, deep or funny interactions but still have them be connected in some way by its absurd plot setup. Like, Shizuka's episode or Eiai's now could've both been pretty good standalone short stories, maybe one shot mangas, but the series connects them all through the completely absurd "100 girlfriends" setup. That way we can get invested every time a new girl is introduced and watch their little romance short story unfold but also not just immediately abandon them and move on to the next short story.
