Surprisingly wholesome episode! I love that this super comedy based show was able to so easily dive into a little bit of a more series side with Shizuka's backstory. Definitely makes me excited to see what the future has in store for this series!

I noticed the Pink clover in the eye too. Do you think it is a reference back to the first ep with the pink 4-leaf clovers that he got for Hakari and Karene? I also think its only in their eye while they are looking at Rentaro, possibly reflecting the fact they are looking at their soulmate

This series has absolutely no right to not only have such a wild premise and be really good in the comedy department, but also have such absolutely beautiful serious moments as well. Was not expecting this at all, but am looking forward to what's to come even more now!
