No lying was done on my part, the Shin and Emma scene are anime only included scenes as I just went back to look through the chapters in the Manga. As I stated in the discord this was done to provide "closure" for certain story beats introduced since the likely hood of getting a season 2 is slim. The next time we see Emma is actually at the end of chapter 21 waiting for Itsu outside of college. Other detraction in the ending from the Manga would be that Yuki doesn't have her passport yet in the Manga. This is why I feel that we aren't getting a season 2 and it should be okay for you to proceed tot he Manga if you wish to get the real story and what is really taking place with the characters.
