Honestly this episode is on par or BETTER than last weeks episode for me. Frieren just absolutely excels at flashbacks.

To be fair, first Übel took Sense out, which would have killed most of the others. Without Frieren there would also not have been a Frieren endboss. So Frieren taking on Frieren had basically no effect. Übel was the one who shifted the game.
