[Edited for clarity! Previously said 'isn't that kind of the point? It's like a costume, right?'

Almas line at the end might change...but I wanted to get a page out today haha. Do you guys think that it's affirming, or dismissive?

Intended vibes are: 'Don't worry about it, nobody will even think abt it because its a costume.' but I think it could be read as like. 'You'll be wearing it as a costume, so it's ok to wear a dress.' (obviously not...what Alma would think.)

It needs to have 'costume' in it to carry on to the next page, but it'd be easy enough to change to like. 'It's good to wear something dramatic to make an impact, it's like a costume right?. etc

ALSO I may have hurt my wrist by trimming our hedge (...by hand) and I'm not entirely sure how it's going to work out this week haha! There may not be another page, we'll see, I'm hoping it gets better fast lol.

That line works great! Some sentences are just weird and really be said in a nonclunky way, but this is like the best way to say it

The edit is way better. Flows better and feels more in character
